Nice one Julie, however it, to me, looks shaken. Did you not use tripod?
Julianne
As mentioned before, I do not own a tripod and I cannot justify buying one.
Traditionally, the Butte (which is a large hill covered in Juniper and sage brush that you can drive up to the top of in summer) is caught on fire by this display (and then there is a break in the fireworks while you watch the fire trucks speed up the butte to put it out). We make bets about how long it will take them to catch it on fire. This year though, the Butte did not catch on fire and I lost $5 to the cause. My father tells me that when he was a boy they used to shoot fireworks from boats on the river that runs through Drake Park and they used to decorate the boats to look like swans. I was born too late for that though.
