Very nice looking young woman. She should be proud of good her looks and therefore LOVE the lense. The composition of the background is great and det DoF is superb, I would have composed the picture so you baby was a little off-set from the centre of the picture. This would give a more "raw feel of the raging sea" and made you baby less prominent. With the model being less prominent in the picture one gets an added sense of the vastness and the power of the seas, by depicting in a more "frail pose"

I hope you appreciate "where I'm going" with this critique.
Apart from that. Looking at the model her face and body seem rather blurred, is this due to camera-movement or is it a mask you have added intentionally?

thank you very much for the critism, i do appreciate any advice that i can get. i do have the same photo which i cropped, which put her to the left where the crest of the wave can also be seen, i wish i could just get her to stand still and set the scene that i would like, but alas i might have to actually get a model as this was a really quick "snap" shot. i did put in a gaussian blur on another layer and set the opacity to around 45% to get a dreamy effect. i will be getting my new camera real soon and cant wait, i think i'll be able to shoot forward, this camera has it's limitations, it actually really irritates me at the moment, but i suppose everyone starts somwhere. thank you paraman Smile
