Lovely silhouet-shot well-composed with nice colours.
The shutter-speed at 1/40 sec. has allowed time for camera-shake and/or movement in the motif, at the cost of sharpness. Did you use tripod?
When using long exposures (slow shutter-speed), ALWAY use a tripod if, and where, possible. Also use delayed release and/or Mirro-lock-up, if you camera has this function.
The contours of the flowers are in good contrast to the background.

I rather like that at first glance I thought they were palm trees on a beach. It's one of those tricky pictures. |
