Taken in my back yard this lovely scented Pink. Did you know that Pinks get there name from the edge of the flower that looks like it was cut with pinking shears?

Very nice shot of a beautiful flower. The magnificant depth gives a feel as if you're seeing the flower live and not on a picture.
However, the composition isn't the best. It's as if you're trying to "cage" the flower. There no "room to move". But at the same time, as soon as the eyes reaches the right side of the flowe, ones eyes "drop out of the picture" as there is no boundary to lead the eyes back into the picture.
Also I'd like to see a bit more sharpness. I know that you're using a Nikon DSLR, and know that they are capable of producing much sharper images. My guess is that you have used a shutter-speed that was too slow to render the picture sharp, causing either camera-shake or a breeze moved the flower at the time you took the shot.
