I never cease to be shocked by the similarities between primates. Whether they want to admit to it or not, this affectionate biting isn't unusual for human parents either. Obviously they aren't biting to hurt (because who in their right mind would do that, or do anything to intentionally make a baby cry).
This is truly a lovely image capturing the love between adult and child regardless of species. Humans certainly aren't the only animal that loves their young. |
