Nothing shows the skill of a reining horse quite like the sliding stop or the pivot. It is not even a remotely easy thing to capture because the only ones who can truly predict it are the horse and the rider. Sometimes the rider doesn't predict it well enough and they end up sitting in the dirt wondering what just happened while the horse glares at them for looking stupid.  |
