Ooo this takes me back a bit. A friend of mine used to have a Barn Owl and I remember the boxes of gassed chicks she bought to feed it. Like you say, they have to be fed in captivity and this is one of the best ways of doing it |

ahhhh reality. I often wonder if cows wince every time they see me eating a cheeseburger. Aside from it being a lovely shot all around, I think there is real beauty in having captured something so "to the point", and that is, survival isn't necessarily all sweet and lovely. |

Great capture Bev, and though it may seem dramatic, no one can really change the circle of life - as you also said, an Owl have to eat. Beautifully illustrated, despite the drama some may confuse this with! |
