Tucker with Snowface
Tucker was out playing in the snow, and on his way in I caught this. It has been tightly cropped from the original and I've messed around with it. I think I may be obsessed with this kind of look, heh.

It maybe only me, but I think you may have over cropped it a bit. It is slightly out of focus, and that has not helped. I hope you do not mind the critique.

I don't mind the comments at all - I see where you're coming from, and having another voice and or opinion helps me develop as a photographer. About the out of focus: yeah, I did that. The original pic is out of focus, so I used some softening effects on Photo Filtre and tried to keep his eye out of it this time. I was photographing through a glass door, with backlight, and Tucker NEVER stays still, so it was not likely that I was going to get a very good pic that day. Also, it's cropped really close to keep emphasis on his eye - it shows his mood. The original pic was one of those ones you know isn't good on it's own, but you have to mess around with it anyway. This is what came of that.

Although i agree with Steve regarding the over tight crop, i love the the approach to this, if..it was in focus i think it would of been a terrific image, being a K9 photographer myself, i know only too much how its not the easiest job photographing animals, so well done

...I was thinking, and I think some of my edited photographs are getting more into the realm of pictorial photography.
