We had a snow storm last night. it is still snowing. It is not unusual to see a car spun out or stuck in snow in the side of the road in these conditions. My commute takes me from my house at 4500 feet elevation to my work at 6000 feet over a pass at 7200 feet everyday. It is a beautiful drive.

Beautiful scenery capture vahid, and the way the trees are leaning on the right side of the picture is quite odd It looks a little bit like Oregon to me. We have been promised a lot snow this weekend, and it slowly started yesterday, cold...cold....cold I like the slim horizontal layout you went with in this shot

My but that looks really cold up there. Living in the Fens of the UK, my morning commute peaks at about 60 feet above sea level! This picture works so well because it shows nature in a real sense. Just looking at it makes you feel cold and the slush covering the road gives that knot in the stomach feeling that I always had when driving on snow. The trees on the right marching down the hill give a heightened tension to the shot as does the top of a tree peaking above the wall to the left leaving little to the imagination as to what would happen if you went through that wall. Great picture because it tells a story and makes you feel as though you are in that car

The trees on the right are not really growing slanted. thye look like this because I used a wide angle lens (10mm) and the camera was sitting at an off angle in my car jammed between the seat and the glove compartment. I was going to level the horizon but I like it the way it is.
