| The Age of Steam |

| There is something about a Steam Engine pulling a train of period carriages, just shear nostalgia for those old enough to remember them.... like me.... The choice of black & white was, I think, quite appropriate for this one plus the fact I wanted to give it a clean hard look rather than a softer romantic one. |

Again I like the angle you went with, as it goes extremely well with these images. I agree that a clean hard look works well with this image, as it only adds more focus to the power of these steam engines. Great shot Paddy, and great to see you submitting pictures again  |

Nice to be back Steve and good to see you are still around. I have had very little time for photography of late, always seems to be something else that needs to be done. These, and a few more to come are from my hols in August but I know being back in the community will inspire me on. Some good new talent joined as well. God to see VIG is still growing and developing so well |
