| Julie, Julie's mom and I took a trip to a town called Sisters, in the mountain area where the Three Sisters are located. We were supposed to head for the mountains but it got too late. Instead we spent some time in town, which was a lot of fun. We did drive to Metolius, not far from Sisters where I got this shot. |

Wow wee! this is amazing, its so good to see pictures that others (me) would never get to see in real life, I love the DOf you have used Darren  showing the trees in the forground, and the mountain sitting in the background.
Nice work and composition well thought out.  |

Great shot Darren although it's a little dark I would have lightened it slightly with levels. The surrounding shrub and brances frame the motif perfectly. Great one.. Give yourself a User's pick  |

Thank you all for your kind comments  It was pretty hard with the light, as there wasn't really that much, as Julie also mentioned. If I was to bring more light into picture, it would overexpose the sky. I used a medium shutter speed and a high aperture to get as much of the textures within the picture, and without overexposing the sky |
