| Leaf it alone! |

| This lonely little leaf had been blown by the wind against this tree, i liked the mixture of the wood and leaf texture. |

Great shot Bev. I love the colours and the idea and composition looks great too. To me it looks as if the leaf is slightly overexposed. But I can see that you've used flash, and this may be the cause. Still a great and telling shot

I couldn't really see a flash being used in this one either, as the bark would have become more dark and the leaf itself would have been on the white side, instead of the beautiful colors it's showing here. |

I think what gives this image the impression that flash was used, was the leaf in fact was very wishy washy in colour, i used the saturation a touch but didnt want to over compensate for the wood colouring and texture. |
