Now that is a hansom bird, and the details you managed to capture are quite amazing. It was a very kind move of the Peregrine Falcon to spread its wings for you Smile I think it would had been better on a more subtle background, the red seems to dominating for me, but I know we can't always change the environment they are sitting in. Love the details Cool

I agree with the background on this Darren, a little over powering, it actually was boarding but i cloned the lines all out of it as it looked rather messy.

Yes they do hunt with these Julie, they are the fastest bird of prey.

Sadly we can't always control the environment, and it always gets to me when I manage to take a good picture of a certain object but the environment was not exactly top notch Confused But that's photography, and usually not the photographers fault, as changing an entire scenery is too time consuming Very happy
