Horn Owl looking at me
Well if he is going to look at me like that, why not take his picture. Those eyes are really something, and one could see how he was studying everything around him. This one lives in captivity at the High Desert Museum in Oregon, and he was flying around among the audience.

WOW. I'm looking forward to visiting the U.S. for christmas.Hopefully I'll get a chance to see this museum too.

Great shot, Darren. I reflection from a flash in the birds eyes would have been great. Smile

I LOVE Owls, they are the most beautiful of all bird of prey, (imo) anyway Very happy Try cropping the image so that you have more of the head in the frame, showing those amazing eyes off, and this will get the grey bar or rail out of the left hand bottom corner. Even if left the way it is, this is a great shot. Laughing

Thank you all for your comments and feedback, it is truly appreciated. I have to agree Bev, that the background isn't the most attractive of them all Very happy It was a background picture which they had installed at the sight to make it look more real, though I would rather prefer some pine trees or something - give me the real deal Laughing

Julie, why is there a Hazel everywhere we go??? Always some kid to scare of the wildlife so we can't get pictures of it Laughing What's up with that Wink
