Sunrise down the road
I was driving Joel to the school bus one morning, well I do that every morning, but that particular morning the sunrise was very beautiful, with the mist rising above the trees along with the sun.

Very nice shot, Darren. The trees frame the sun nicely, a longer exposure would have given you more detail in the shadows, but at the same time would have blown out the sun more than it already is. The sun is always hard to photograph, as is the largest, and brightest light-source known to man, and there are no buttons or knobs to press or turn, to reduce the out of light the sun emits. And again, I presume that this pic is taken handheld, which has resulted in a slightly unsharp pic due to camera-shake. But the atmosphere in the picture is absolutely fabulous!

This is a lovely morning shot Darren. I love the Shadow of the trees against that bright morning sun. Mad

Thank you all for your comments Smile Julie is right about the blur effect. The mist coming of the trees is what is creating this effect, so even if I had it standing on a tripod it wouldn't come out any differently Wink
