Spider waiting in its web
Finally!!!! I found a spider sitting in its web, so I quickly grabbed the opportunity to take 689 pictures of it, lol. Okay, that may be exaggerating a bit, but I did take a lot of photos of it :o)

Brilliant Darren! your determination has paid off and the image is sharp, colour and light is spot on! Your DOF has captured everything in the frame to detail, and as i said very sharp! This definately should be viewed Large!! You should be very pleased with this Darren.
Oh, this is the Cross or Garden Spider (female-white cross markings on back) "Araneus diadematus" just in case you want to know what youve been photographing.

Thanks a lot for your comments I was very determent to get a photo like this, and this was my very first one As always, thanks for the added information. I didn't know this and it is always good to know more about what we are actually picturing, so I certainly appreciate it

Like a lot of others I am definitely not a 'spiderman'. But as Bev said this is a great shot of one.

Thanks Steve. I don't really like them that much either, but when it comes to picturing them, it suddenly goes from creepy to fascinating

Thanks Bortree and good work on your website. It's great to see when people take a great interest in photography, and use the camera as frequently as possible
