| The Common Hawker |

| These large dragonflies were out and about today in droves, so took the opportunity to get another few shots of them before they disappear. |

I tried getting some photos of them too, but they are extremely fast and they don't sit for very long (at least the ones at the lake I visit) 
I may have a plan, to stick some glue to some branches, this way I am sure they won't fly away Just kidding.
Brillint shot Bev, and the details are as always a real joy to look at. You also framed it brilliantly |

Thanks Darren and Steve, i found these by chance on a dog walk, i just had to sit and watch them flying around like little helicopters until they settled,(which sometimes seems like a liftime) and then move in sooo slowly, then they seem ok with it,they camoflauge very well against their surrounds which makes it difficult to know they are even there.  |
