Dragonfly
I am not sure if this will display correctly on the PhotoBlog as it is a wide shot. It needs to be to see it at it's best so please view it on the web by clicking the link below. This Dragon fly was sat on a gravestone in a little visited part of an old Victorian Grave Yard which I took a look at this morning in the sunshine. I had about 20 seconds to get the shot and it was gone

Now that is a stunning shot Paddy and deserves the Editors pick I hope it gets. When seen enlarged it really comes out and the DoF is brilliant. Congratulations mate that is one excellent photo.

Absolutely brilliant Paddy!! this is how dragonflies should be photographed, they have such expressionable faces, and you have caught this one perfectly. The focus and DOF are great, showing every little detail of the laced wings.
