In the Waterford crystal factory where this guy was showing how the cut glass crystal was made. This was taken on a bank holiday, but normally the factory would be at full pelt.

I think there's something about this image that makes people study it a bit longer than the average image, or is it just me?
So many features and details, which are all nicely framed around the work he is doing, though he also seem camouflaged into the scenery. The industrial atmosphere plays a big role in this picture, a picture which I personally find quite an impressive shot! I don't what it is about the image, but sometimes we get that feeling, that is hard to pin point exactly what is. I just got mine here

I think Darren has explained this very well, you have to keep looking at it and everytime you find something new in the frame! like the deep in concentration epression on the guys face.

This was just one row in at least ten of the same. The noise in that factory must be huge in normal times.

Great environment shot - depicting the work of the employees, and showing what it actually is they do. And at the same time showing what kind of machinery the labourers use, which also explains why cut glass crystal is so expensive.
Great focous, excellent composition.
Maybe an extra pic to show the final result of his work would have been nice.?
