Why would I put in this photo of this huge building? It is actually the University Hospital of Wales about 3 miles from me and my wife is now a in-mate. I had this daft idea of going to the highest spot to Photograph this factory of a hospital. And this is just one small part of the grounds.

Its massive Steve! and you have taken a great wideangle shot to get the whole perspective, nice work. I do hope that your wife works there and is not poorly when you mean In-mate?

I am afraid yes she in there as a patient. She has had a massive ulcer on her heel for about eight months that just would not heal up. They have decided that enough is enough and the infection will not go away by itself, so in she went. I can post a photo of the heel, but I think that it will be pulled straight away. If Darren will let me I will post, but I warn you it is not a pleasant sight.

I thank you very much for respecting the community, Steve, and your kind thoughtfulness for people's reactions to a matter like this. Many people would be extremely affected by an image such as this, including children who may find their way to the site. We don't mind images that are not graphic, but a heel ulceration seems pretty graphic in nature and I'm afraid that people might be bothered by it.
Again thanks a lot for your respect on this matter. It is much appreciated and a great thoughtfulness on your behalf.
Now to comment this image I too like the wide angle view. It looks to be quite a big hospital, much bigger than the one we have here in town. Beautiful capture
I hope they manage to help your wife with her heel, and get it fixed. It is sad she has been troubled with it for so long.

Cool perspective Steve. I love the the way the lines draws you around the picture.
Sorry to hear about your wife, I hope the staff at the hospital, can fix her up soon.
I think I speak for everyone here, when I send a wish for a speedy recovery for your wife.
