The last Volvo
This is one of the last Volvo Ailsia's that Cardiff Bus own. It has been with us now for over twenty years and has had its day. They will be replaced soon with a new fleet of double deck buses.

What a shame, i think this bus can tell a few stories, where do they go when they have finished their duties?

Twenty years is a long time of being in service, and I am sure it will be looking forward to retiring Very happy Do you know if it will go to a museum, or just become a junk of metal at the scrapyard? The last option would be quite a shame, as I am sure it contains a lot of history from Cardiff Buses.

I have no knowledge of what is happening to them, but I will try to find out. A lot of bus history groups often buy these and run them for themselves.
