No you almost certainly have never heard of him, but he is very good and you will in the future I think. We saw this guy at a Rock'n Roll night last night. He is very much a young 'Shakin Stevens

It's a perfect profile shot, just a tad more light would have brought out more of the details I remember Shakin Stevens, it was back in the 80s were I was still able to shake a leg Thanks for sharing this one

Nice shot Steve. However I see quite a lot of noise. Did you use a high ISO. also a slight touch of red-eye, which can easily be corrected in almost any photo-enhancing programme nowadays. Thec composition is immacculate.

I did use a 400 ISO just to try it out for the night. However after viewing the results I think next time I will leave it to the camera. There was a lot more 'red eye'than that, but I must have missed a bit.

Well Steve, we can't see everything all the time. Next time try to rembemer to keep your shutterspeed at around the same as your ISO. i.e. At ISO 200 your slowest shutterspeed should be around 1/200 sec.. ISO 400 your slowest shutterspeed should be around 400 when possible, this can often mean aquiring big heavy "light-hungry" lenses with very large apertures (Small f/-number). If you remember this, I will almost certainly garantee you sharp picture. But when it isn't possible to use a larger aperture, use a tripod and a remote trigger to trigger your camera, as many cameras also pick up the movement of the camera as me depress the release button. Also when using flash, try to bounce the flash of the wall or the ceiling as this will give you less harsh shadows. If you don't already have one.. try to get hold of a diffuser for your flash, this also weakens harsh shaddows but also lays a softer light on the subject.
