This hovver fly was attracted to a patch of dandelions, i think the colour of them made him feel at home.

You did very well on capturing this shot, the sharpness and colors are both a clear proof of that Great shot Bev!

These tiny little flys are very erratic and they only hovver for a couple of seconds, but its good fun trying to capture their picture even if you do become very dizzy trying to follow them. Thanks Darren.

Very nice sharp shot Bev. But aren't dandelions ususally yellow. On my screen the dandelion has a slight hint of green. And I know that there's nothing wrong with my screen as it is calibrated once every fort-night. Did you use flash?
BevB
What are you calibrating your screen with Paraman? software or integral? as its as yellow as yellow on mine, and no i didnt use any flash, i try not too, as i find you can always tell when flash has been used in an image, colours get blown and contrasts becomes weakend, i use natural light 99.9% of my wildlife shots.

I use GRETAG EYE ONE DISPLAY 2 to calibrate my my screen.

Should be ok then, il have to wait to see if anyone else has this problem with the colour.
