wow, great shot - LOL (just giving Julie a hard time) Laughing How you manage to capture these shots is beyond me, but I do know that a lot of patience is involved. It's great to see when patience is rewarded with a beautiful photo like this Wink

Thanks Darren.
I Feed the birds in the garden daily, i have various bird feeders up and it helps with my photography, i have "On Tap" models if i need to go and practice something, so these birds are i suppose tricked a little Embarassed into having their photos taken, but you obviously have to be there at the right time, ie grooming takes place most mornings, feeding youngsters often throughout the day, bath times late afternoons, but i like to be able to think i can stay in my own back yard to get wildlife come to me. Mad

Most wildlife photographers goes about things in their own different ways, which I also find a talent, as thinking ahead on how to get the shot plays a big part of it too. In order to portray wildlife as it is, it sometimes needs a little helping hand from the photographer - and in the end it all comes down to getting the perfect shot, no matter how people may approach it. I think it's great that you can have the wildlife come to you, I have certainly enjoyed to look at the pictures you have posted, and I am always looking forward to see what photos you will post next - yup, you have a few fans here Smile

Thats very kind of you to say Darren, as i have said in the past its very much appreciated Very happy There are various methods to get that perfect shot, but i draw the line to certain methods, for example, it is knownthat photographers catch and put moths/butterlies etc in the fridge, therefore making the animal fall into a deep sleep, they place and manipulate it in a place they want their "Perfect" shot, then when finished leave it in the sun to come round. This to me is cruel and totally unwarranted, i myself would not feel proud to exhibit a photo taken this way. Mad to get a shot of an animal/bird etc in its totally natural environment/habitat in a totally natural pose gives me a great buzz!! Laughing
