It's a great shot Bev, and I like how every detail is revealed in this shot. One can really sense the wingspan of this bird, and how much it takes to get it airborne. When I saw this picture I was amazed by the size of its feet, another detail you managed to capture perfectly. The claws really shows in this shot. The alignment of the bird and the open space you have provided, only adds to illustrating the aerodynamics of this beautiful bird.

No its a wader, walks through shallow walker looking for small fish and algae but i know what you mean by it.  |
