Brave little fellow, isn't he? He keeps me company while I weed the flowerbeds so I brought out my camera this day. It looks as if he decided to pose for me.

I like Squirrels. I am not sure why, but I guess it's because of those speedy moves and funny poses they strike at times It must be great to have this fellow to keep you with company, and it makes good practice with the camera.
I really like the way you managed to capture him standing like that Nice shot Priscilla

I, too, like Squirrels, Darren, until they stripped all 5 peach and 2 apricot trees this Spring. A pile of peach & apricot pits beneath the trees is not an endearing qaulity.
Julianne, I actually have a shot of that little rascal coming to get a pecan from my hand. My presence didn't bother him at all.

Lol! what a great capture, he certainly isnt shy. I to cant help liking them, but i very nearly strangled the one in my garden when i caught it terrorising my robins nest which had 5 babies in it, it killed 4 and threw them out of the nest and the last one died through being too young to survive on its own. Im not sure if this is the same behaviour as yours.

Oh, Julianne, I hear your Muse talking with that description. But, he does have that, 'Bring It On' stance, doesn't he?

Oh, Bev, how heartbreaking about the fledgling birds.
Squirrels are distructive and huge pests when they want to be.
