| The Juvenile Herringull |

Visited the harbour down in our village where the Sea birds, gulls of allsorts, gather for tit bits from the public. The weather was superb, blue skys with a scattering of white fluffy cloud.
I wanted to practice using manual mode on moving objects, birds in flight are ideal, so therefore getting the settings right and getting the panning and focus right on the subject when closing the shutter button. |

I think you did very well with this shot Bev. The details are easy to spot and the motion of the wings gives the shot speed and power. I like it  |

I agree with Darren. I would have liked a little more contrast to give this pic extra sharpness, and lowered the lighting slightly.. But nonetheless a cracking shot. Keep 'em coming Bev.  |
