Eye to eye.
Thought i would try and get a more macro shot of this little guy, and regular as clockwork he appeared.

Thanks Mrjingles, i rarely change this lense although i have to admit it is slightly soft at the 400mm end but if i need something a little faster i use the 70-200L f2.8 which is a smashing lense, id like the 500mm but need to remortgage the house for that one!!

You have a great camera for your genre of photography, do youfind the full frame beneficial?. Mad

I agree that it is indeed a great image. I like the way it is staring right at you and how it has positioned its small little feet on that rock Smile
Focusing on who you are and what you are doing Smile

This is really an outstanding shot Bev, and every detail in the image goes well with the overall layout. It would make a great postcard Wink

I have to admit that i was quite pleased with this one, the only thing niggling me is the background, i wish i had of used a lower aperature for more DOF to blur the wall out more, but thats where the 100-400L falls short at f5.6 wide open.
