| Swallow over the river |

| This was taken the same time as the sparrow and mayfly image, the river was covered in weed flower and the mayflies were very active, so the Swallows made the most of it. |

The way you captured this shot makes the Swallow look like the King of the Sky. One can feel how it is maneuvering with ease across the river, scouting for mayflies. The full wingspan you managed to capture, just adds to its artistic way of flying and the extreme beauty of this photo. Wildlife photography at its best! I really hope a lot more people will in the future find their way to your photo blog and website, and take a deeper look into how professional your photos really are. They definitely deserve a lot of credit in my book.

They certainly are on my favourites list, purely for their grace, agility and sheer beauty in flight.
