| The Sparrow & Mayfly |

This was actually taken on a trip last year, i was concentrating on the little birds coming up for the Mayfly and was lucky to get this shot.

Extremely powerful shot Bev, and definitely not one we get to see every day. One can nearly feel the tension as it is closing in on its target. This is captured at the exact right moment, where there is still hope left or is there. Great composition, to say the least!!! There should be a photographer medal for a shot like this 
I, and many others are very fascinated by your photos. You are very talented with the camera, and you have a great eye for details and a great sense of timing. Keep up the outstanding work and I really hope to see many more credit the talents you have. |

Julianne your very kind, i have to admit i was quite chuffed to get this shot, but its a good feeling that people are enjoying looking at them.
Darren the chance to get another shot similar to this wont come along again i doubt, the Mayflies only descend for a few days in May, but thats why we go to a certain river at that time to get some different action shots. Hopefully!  |
