I would use a zoom lens for a shot like this, a zoom lens that could reach at least 3 miles and still get a close-up shot - I am scared of toads/frogs Creepy fellows
However, sitting here looking at a photo of one, I know it can't jump on my lap at any second
Again you prove what results photography skills can bring. Positioning has a great saying and timing is everything. This is a perfect illustration of these two skills, combined with a great portion of camera skills. It's creative and technical at the same time.

I was laying front down hoping that the toad would keep jumping in the direction it was going, a slight right turn and i would of been wearing toady as a hat! Thanks for comments Darren.

Thats a great way of looking at it Julianne, i caught him exactly as he took a leap forward, i think the perspective of the picture gives it that look due to me laying flat down on the ground. Thanks for looking and commenting.
