This Swallow was actually flying back and forth so close to me, it was as if he was taunting me and saying come on then catch me!

I am out of words, not enough words on this planet can describe how well this photo was taken and the great efforts that was put into getting it. I would be extremely proud to bring home such a capture, that really reflects the professionalism behind it.
I am always fascinated with peoples photo talents, and your talent is no exception Bev. It's a joy to see when people put heart and soul into what they do, which not only illustrates skills, but also determination to bringing home that perfect shot. As they say "Practise makes perfect" and this is great proof of those exact words.
I always get excited when I see a photo like this, as people can probably tell It's so skillful and professional down to the bone, and deserves all the credit it can get.
Outstanding!

Darren what can i say, i am just very humbled by your greatly appreciated comments. I have to admit that when i get a subject in mind, the bits between my teeth and i have to get it, i have had to do some searching, but have now found 2 people with Barn owls and with young! im going Thursday evening to check it out so fingers crossed, as i have'nt been able to clinch that Owl shot yet!
Darren
I will keep my fingers crossed and hope you will bring home some great Owl shots. Good luck Bev

Thanks Julianne, yes a lot of patience is required and a fast lense! i use the 70-200L f2.8 IS USM for these shots but the need to get a little closer is required, i have tele converters but these are ok with tripods/monopods, but as i rarely use these due to being more free to pan in all sorts of positions, especially with birds like swallows/swifts, so i like to get as close to my subject as possible. Thanks Darren, im really looking forward to it.

I feel like a mud-hen among Peacock. That's the most amazing photo! The angle is perfect. My hat is off to you.
