Very nice portrait of your step-son. Great colours, perfect field-of-depth, cool pose, and nice composition. I would have zoomed out or taken a step or two back to get the tips of his hair and a little more space above his head.
But, yet another great shot, from you. COOL

Thanks guys, it is indeed the new D40 in action. Not been able to get out and about to try it much yet but I am so impressed with what it can do and I like the discipline of just having the 18-55 zoom. I know it is tight cropped at the top but that was to get rid of a distraction in the background that would not clone out very well |
