Lets make Curry
I have loaded this onto the forum for the ‘January Theme (Household)’ for critique. Please feel free to go to the forum section and add to the comments there as well. Also, as a reminder, is anyone going to have a go at this months theme? If so, post your picture in any way you feel comfortable with and put a description on the forum page as to how, why, where you took it. If you are not sure of what the ‘Themes’ are about then post your questions on the ‘Theme’ forum and I am sure we will be able to explain what it is about. It is a fun way of getting people thinking and discussing pictures, no prizes, no winners, losers etc just pictures.

I commented this one at the forums, but it is great to see it also made its way into your blog as it is a very beautiful shot and a creative setup You started this months theme of extremely well Paddy, and like you I hope to see more entering this months theme. It couldn't be said much better than what you you just did "no prizes, no winners, losers etc just pictures", so true - happy faces having fun being inspired and learning
Thanks for submitting this one Paddy, it's a great shot

Very creative setup indeed. I would have liked to seen this shot taken from a slight angle away from the subject.. instead of directly above. In my oppinion you have cropped this picture a wee bit too tightly, I would have left a bit more space at the tip of the meat-cleaver, and I think that had the cleave been turned so the handle was down-ward in the photo, the composition would have been a slight bit better. But still a very good idea for this months "challenge".. Keep them coming.. and save a plate of your curry for me

Thanks for that Paraman, much appreciated Mmmmm plate of curry... I have to say, bragging here, I can cook curry better than I can picture the ingredients lol
