Such a beautiful sight seeing these big birds coming into land. The Japan Airlines 747-400 which is on its final approach here, is one of my favorite aircrafts, well the 747-400 series period  It's amazing such a big piece of machinery can actually fly weighing as much as it does, but the thrust from these engines are extremely powerful. I love these photos

Oh you have done it now Yckhong, Darren and Dustin are big, BIG, fans of these machines. Must admit when I first saw these I didn't realise that the foreground plane was on the ground.... nearly put me off flying forever |
