The inside of a Round house
Just to show what it looks like inside. Those upright poles supporting the roof are all there is, no centre pole. When the turf roof gets soaked, it can weigh up to 8 tons (8128 kg)

It's quite impressive it can carry this amount of weight. Still I would be nervous sitting in the center area, by the open fire drinking my afternoon tea while it is pooring down Very happy This image has got a perfect layout and leaves us with a great impression what it was actually like.

Think I will have to go back and do a full 360 and let Steve do one of his interactive rotating panoramas with it lol. Seems odd to see something circular made flat. Panoramas are usualy the other way round

A scenery like this would make a perfect panorama image. It would be great to see it in a 360 view.
