Getting in touch with nature
While taking a photo, I felt something touch my hand. It was this little fellow having a look at what I was up to. Having to set the camera to macro and reach across with my left finger to press the button, I was amazed to have got this. He was obviously not impressed and flew away straight after the shot was taken. One in a million chance, very lucky shot

Very lucky indeed. You know I have been at the lake a 1000 times to capture shots of these creatures, and I haven't managed to capture one single one. They are constantly flying about with speeds that would make me lose my breath in seconds I did managed to capture a couple of dragon flies, however, these guys are a bit thicker and I am not sure which species they actually belong. Next time I go to the lake I will bring a news paper, that will teach them to fly away You can see the structure of it all very nicely in this image. Good shot Paddy.

Thanks Julianne, Darren tries to sound hard with his newspaper but it's only because a mosquito got the better of him the other week
