| Getting in touch with nature |

| While taking a photo, I felt something touch my hand. It was this little fellow having a look at what I was up to. Having to set the camera to macro and reach across with my left finger to press the button, I was amazed to have got this. He was obviously not impressed and flew away straight after the shot was taken. One in a million chance, very lucky shot |

Very lucky indeed. You know I have been at the lake a 1000 times to capture shots of these creatures, and I haven't managed to capture one single one. They are constantly flying about with speeds that would make me lose my breath in seconds  I did managed to capture a couple of dragon flies, however, these guys are a bit thicker and I am not sure which species they actually belong. Next time I go to the lake I will bring a news paper, that will teach them to fly away You can see the structure of it all very nicely in this image. Good shot Paddy. |
