Teasel
Teasels are grown a lot on nature reserves as the seed heads are a very important wild bird food. In times gone by the hooked spines that give the teasel its prickly surface were atached to boards and used in the textile industry to raise the nap on fabrics (teasing the surface of the cloth)

Very nice focus shot. Everything is lined up perfectly and the background is blurred out exactly like it should be. Great sharpness and contrast as well!
