In order to access all the fun and great features, you'll first need to create a Visualizer Forums membership. Membership is completely free and allows you free access to the Visualizer Network.
When you have downloaded Visualizer Today and when you have activated your membership through your e-mail, you are ready to log in. Open Visualizer Today from your desktop and enter the forum username and password you selected and sign in.
Click the login link and Visualizer Today will automatically sign you into the Visualizer Network and activate your new photo blog. You are now free to surf through photos, articles, comments and photo blogs.
Let the world know a little about you.
When you log in for the first time, you will have the option of building your profile. It is not required that you add this information, but when other members browse through photos they like to learn a little about the talented person behind the shots by reading your profile.
All fields are optional and you only need to fill in the information you are comfortable with. You can choose to enable or disable your photo blog. If this option is enabled, people will be able to comment on your talents, offer friendly advice for improvement based on their experiences, share ideas with you and maybe even get to know you a bit better. The photo blog is public for all Visualizer Today users to participate in.
You can return to your profile at any time to make changes.
Let the fun begin and get to know the great members.
The main screen is where all the fun begins. You can read and join in conversation about the latest articles submitted by other members at the forums, and you can comment on the latest photo submissions at Visualizer Online Galleries.
Titles, categories, and authors are all links you can click to learn more about a member, article, or photo. When you click on a member (author) link, you will see that the profile area changes to the selected member's information and their latest articles and photo submissions will appear. It's that easy.
Enter the Member menu to learn more about a member, or click the Camera button to view a member's photo album.
How well is your online photo album doing?
When viewing your photo album you can easily manage any photos you have submitted at Visualizer Online Galleries. You can delete photos and comments submitted by members. As an extended security feature you can block members from contacting you.
When right clicking on a thumbnail, a menu option will appear which will give you quick access to links and recommendations.
You can invite friends and family to view any photo you choose directly from your e-mail.
Ideas, thoughts and kind comments are always welcome!
You can always access your own photo blog or any selected member's photo blog, from the Member menu on the main page, or clicking the photo blog button on the album page.
Should you not be able to access another member's photo blog, this can mean one of three things. The member is not a Visualizer Today user, The member has disabled his/her photo blog, or The member has blocked you from contacting him/her.
When you write a comment you can always delete it if you should regret it in the last minute. If you are the owner of the blog, you can delete comments and block any user who has left a comment. Use the Yellow button to block members and the Red button to delete comments.
Wow, amazing shot - what's the secret?
When viewing photos you can easily leave a comment which will instantly be available for all to see, once you click the submit link. All photo comments submitted through Visualizer Today, can also be seen at Visualizer Online Galleries.
Submitting and viewing comments through Visualizer Today is very easy, as you have a great view of it all, and the areas are also very easy to navigate.
Use the lower navigation track to switch pages if the page count is higher than 1. This goes for all pages that have the track option included.
Go ahead and leave a comment, you might just get a few yourself!
Hmmm, a private message, I wonder what this could be...
In time, you may get to know some of the members so well that you want to have more personal conversations outside of the forums. Use the Private Message system to exchange your thoughts, ideas, and services that you would like to keep private.
From the lower right section on the main screen, you can enter your inbox. You can also see if you have any new messages directly from the main screen. The private message system works just like ordinary e-mail, the only difference there really is that it is built for Visualizer Today users only as a way to get to know and help one another better. This also makes it easier to exchange thoughts, ideas, and carry on general chat conversations with only those members you choose to.
I would like to know a little more about this member...
You can easily send a Private Message to any member you are viewing. From the Member menu select the Send me a private message option, and a screen will appear where you can enter the message you want to send.
Should this option not be available, it can mean one of three things. The member is not a Visualizer Today user, The member has disabled private messaging, or The member has blocked you from contacting him/her.
Once you have entered your message, click the send button to send it to the selected member.
Thankfully my Block list is empty!
Even though many of us expect members to behave and speak appropriately, we can't always guarantee what a member is thinking and what their purpose for membership is. Therefore, security is very important to us and was programmed into the system. You can view members you have blocked from the Blocked members link on the main screen. Here you can also unblock members you have resolved disagreements with.
Should a member become offensive, please contact Visualizer Image Group and we will look into the matter. If necessary, we will ban the offending member.
