Visualizer Photo Studio - Working with designer objects.
Download the video for this tutorial click here (32.5 mb).
You can change the looks of your photo in various ways when you are working with the Editor inside Visualizer Photo Studio. You can add a funny look, add a nice effect and add an image or object which may suit the theme of the image.
The procedure is very easy and only requires a few simple steps. This is how it is done.
Step 1.
Open Visualizer Photo Studio and jump to the Editor by clicking the Editor button from the main screen. Select the image you want to work with from the thumbnail viewer and click on the "Embed layer selection" button from your toolpanel.

When you click on the "Embed layer selection" button you will see that two designer panels will appear. The first panel is the Paint kit, the second it the Clipart & Symbols panel. We will be using both for this tutorial.

Let's start by adding a clipart object. You can change the category by clicking the arrow button on the clipart panel. From the menu select the category you find appropriate for your image.

Each category contains it own set of clipart objects which you can add to your image. From the drop down list you can select the object you would like to use. You can see a preview of the selected object in the preview area.

To add the object, drag it from the preview area and on to your image. When you add the object you can drag it around on your image. This way you can place it in the exact area of your choice. Move your mouse cursor over the object until the hand cursor appears. Hold down your left mouse button to drag it. To embed it, click one time with your left mouse, outside the object. You can also click on the "Embed layer selection" button.

Step 2.
If you want to embed an image you have stored on your harddrive, click on the "Embed layer selection" button from your toolpanel. This time we will be using the Paint kit. Hold down your left mouse button and make a selection by dragging from left to right and down. From the Paint kit click on the "Insert image" button and locate the image you want to insert.

When you select an image, the image will automatically be resized into your selection, which you can drag around on your image. You can embed the image using the same procedures as described in step 1.
Step 3.
You may want to add a text if you have inserted a speech bubble. To add a text click on the "Embed text layer" button on your toolpanel.

You can drag the text layer by holding down your left mouse button on the text grid (outer text area) and move it around on your image. When you have found the area you want to embed the text, release the mouse button and enter the text you want to embed into the image. You may also want to select a font, font color and font size from the font panel.

You can embed the text using the same procedures as described in step 1.
Step 4.
Basic for all these steps is that once you embed an object, image or text you can fade your actions into the image you are working with. To do this go to the lower left area of your screen and click the arrow button next to the Visualizer logo.

From the menu select "Fade last action". Drag the knob and select the value you prefer for your image and click the OK button to add the effect.

Congratulations, you now know how to work with an object and text layer.
As you can see the procedure wasn't that difficult. Worth mentioning is that when you work with a selection, whether that being an obejct, image or blank selection, you can add filter effects and rotations to your selection.
Have fun and enjoy.
