There are many happenings throughout the year to bring the villagers closer to eachother. This is a shot from the "childrens-festival". Every year it is "kicked off" with a parade of homemade floats, where some of the villagers, dress up themselves, their trailers and cars, and go on parade through the village. At the end of the parade they're all gathered at the village green, where they're all judged on creativity and the best float gets a prize. I stood and watched this Cuban Crocodile for 10 minutes, not once did its mouth, or any other part of hit anatomy, move. :-o

I have wrongly named other pictures of some different crocs, this is correctly named. I laid out some "nervous velour-fabric on my light-table, set one flash-unit with soft-box directly above, one to the left at 45º and reflector-panel to the right

As the light was quite harsh, I had to use F/16 with a shutter-speed at 1/200 sec . Although they're not poisonous snakes, law requires them to be held separately, so visitors who don't feel comfortable with snakes can pass them without coming close to them, as the snakes "run free" in their enclosure. The cathedral, called la Seo by the Mallorquines, was constructed from 14th to 19th century, and the highly creative Antoni Gaudí designed its interior in 20th century. Results are fascinating and original at the same time, almost impossible to describe with words.
