Associate your image files with Visualizer Photo FX.
After you have installed Visualizer Photo FX you can associate the images you want to launch with this software, a software which also works brilliantly as an image viewer. Visualizer Photo FX supports 7 different image formats which can be associated with the software, those being JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIF, TGA, PSD, and BMP. In the following tutorial you will learn how to associate these image formats with Visualizer Photo FX.
Accessing your preferences.
When you associate an image format with Visualizer Photo FX, it means that wherever in Windows® you double click or click on the image format, it will be opened with Visualizer Photo FX. It does have quite some advantages as the software works fast and will load the image you selected, along with all known image formats within the selected folder. This makes it very easy for you to browse through all images without having to go back and select a new image from Windows® Explorer or any other file manager you may be using. All you have to do to jump to another image within the selected folder, is to locate the image in the upper dropdown menu.
Once you have launched Visualizer Photo FX all you have to is right click to access your preferences. On the right side you will see the section that contains the image formats you can associate with Visualizer Photo FX. You do not have associate all file types, you are free to select the ones you prefer viewing with this software. Once you have selected the image formats you want to associate, click on the OK button to apply the changes.

When you change the association of certain image formats which you want to open with Visualizer Photo FX, this also means that the icons as you once knew them will change into a new set of icons. Below you can see the Photo FX icons that represents each image format. Take your time to get familiar with them.

The icons will be visible when you open Windows Explorer or My Computer. When you start browsing for files you will notice that the image formats you associated with Visualizer Photo FX, have changed into new icons. The illustration below shows you an example of the JPG images which are associated with Visualizer Photo FX. On the left side we have the folders and on the right side we have the JPG files, which now have a new icon.

Double click on the file to open it with Visualizer Photo FX. Remember when you double click on one image, Visualizer Photo FX will automatically load the remaining files within the dropdown menu, making it easy for you to navigate through your images. |
