Let's make your photoblog a bit more fun and a bit more interactive. VIG and Cooliris are now compatible and your visitors can now enter a 3D world of photos, taken by you!
If you do not have Cooliris installed, VIG can highly recommend downloading the Plugin from their website (Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari compatible). Visit Cooliris. Help us share the latest 500 photos submitted by all our members, using Cooliris. Here is what you do. Add the following codes to one or more of your webpages, and let your visitors interact with our members directly from your website. Place the following code between the head tags of your webpage: Code:
Then add the following link to any area of your website: Code:
You can also view all photo submissions from an individual member by clicking the "View with Cooliris" link, when viewing a members photo. You are of course also free to share your own Cooliris link at your website. Enjoy the new feature, as VIG continue to make image browsing as fun and easy as possible! For you and your visitors pleasure.

Now this is quite something. I have to say that viewing scrolling walls of images is very much Apple Mac, well certainly in some respects as I can view files, applications and music in this way and it is a great way to work. Well done at adding this feature to the Blogs Darren.
Anyone not done it yet should click on one of Bev's images then click the View with Cooliris icon. You will see a wall of some of the best wildlife images around, a spectacular gallery Bev. For some reason though, when I selected Paramans latest blue glass shot, this does not work, not sure why. I also get this when I click on the link created on my website by using the cut and paste script things..... You know I am not technical. You can test this by going to my links page where I have set this up My Link Page Not sure if I have done something wrong Yet another great example of the use of available technology to make visiting and using VIG a better experiance all round ![]() Last edited by Paddy : 10-05-2008 at 09:50 PM. |

I still cannot get Paramans Blog to view in Cooliris. I have noticed that in all the other blogs, when I move my mouse over the thumbnail pic, an icon appears in the bottom left which takes me straight to the Cooliris view. On Paramans, these small icons do not appear
![]() Also, I still don't get the VIG page when I click on the link from my website, I just get the "This browser page is not Cooliris enabled" (or something like that) message and a general view of the Presidential elections in America. Seems odd that all the others work fine, and I have to say it is a great way of viewing them. |
