Default Anti-Virus software causing memory read errors

As you are aware i have just purchased and downloaded visualiser Photo studio, i am now having trouble opening the programme, when i double click on the desktop shortcut i keep getting a box come up saying "Application failed to initialize properly (OX0000005)" click ok to cancel.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing, closing laptop down and then rebooting, and the same thing is happening, i have managed to open it twice properly since downloading first time, and when i have tried doing a V4U slideshow it wont build another box comes up.

Sorry, i hope this is a clear enough description, and would be grateful for some help .

This is sadly a Windows error which we have no control over, other than to help you get rid of it. Two things I need to know, are you keeping your system clean from spyware/adware. Do you have software running that is taking up a lot memory, that can prevent Visualizer Photo Studio from storing data in the memory? Also make sure you have the latest video drivers installed for your computer.

Just let us know and we will walk you through it

Thanks Darren for quick reply, yes i have good spyware/adware blocker and the only other programme i have had running at the same time is Visualiser Today. As for latest video drivers, do you mean "Quicktime" and similar?

The Microsoft NET Framework could also be the cause of this error, so the link Julie provided should definitely be tried out
The video driver is for your graphic card installed in your computer, typically NVidia.

You can see which video card you have installed by clicking on Start and then right clicking on My Computer and select Properties from the menu. Select the Hardware tab and click on the Device manager button. Click on the plus sign for the Display adapters, and you will see which video card you have installed on your computer.
