Default Resize Problems

I have two jpg files in the same folder, one will resize and the other will not. It tries to do it, because I get a file in the resize folder but it is 0 bites and nothing shows up.

If I preview the files first in the priview view the thumbnail shows up but the photo does not show up in this view.

In my explorere browser both files show up fine before I resize.

Does the original size of the image make a difference. The file that will not work is about 7MB and the dimensions of the jpg file is 11x17 poster.

Please help

It's either a memory issue (17 mb, jpg file) which Visualizer Photo Resize will not allow as the system may crash, or the color format of the image is not RGB. It could be CMYK now that you mentioned it is a poster. If that's the case it needs to be converted into RGB.

That is it, CMYK - RGB I never made that connection. I just tried it and it worked without a problem.

I searched for possibly 3 hours trying to find a solution. Is there anywhere I could have looked to solve that problem. I did not see any thing that said that Photo Resize would not work with CMYK only RGB (I could have messed it)?

Thanks so much Darren
