Default Resizing and saving a single image

Visitor support: Service ID:73839-M

You can resize a single image with Visualizer Photo Resize (freeware) by entering the Preview screen.

From the thumbnail viewer select the image you want to resize. Click on the Resize image button which is located at the top area of your screen. Enter the max width of the image you want to resize (the height is automatically calculated).

Use only the "Stretch to canvas size" option, if you want the image to fit the exact pixel dimensions you have entered. If this option is unchecked the image will be scaled and resized using the proper aspect ratio of your selected image (this is also the default option).

Once the image has been resized, click on the "Save as..." button from the toolpanel. Enter the file name and click the "Save" button.

Next you will be prompted for an image optimization. Enter you prefered value to optimize the file size. A 100% compressed image will give you the best quality, but will also give you a larger file size. The default compression value is 80%. This will give you a smaller file size and still maintain as much of the quality as possible.

Your image has been resized, optimized and saved. The image has become more viewer friendly for the web and you can now share it at a gallery, forum or a standard web page. The image is also optimized for your e-mail attachments, if you prefer sending it to family and friends.

Default Trying to use Photo Resize

I've downloaded the free Photo Resize app, but I can't seem to get into it. I has a JPG I want to shrink to 90 pixel wide and 100 pixels height but I can't even get to the place where I can load the picture, specify the size, etc.
I'm frustrated. Can you help?

Hey there,

Locate the folder which contains the jpg image(s) you want to resize (button next to the "Read JPG images from path" caption). When you have selected the folder, click on the preview button and follow the guide as written above. This will get you started.

Btw, you uploaded an image to the gallery which was too small - minimum size is 400 px.

I hope this will help you get started and please feel free to try out the galleries again.
