It's no big secret that Visualizer Image Group has become well known all over the world for our easy-to-use digital photo software. We are commonly introduced through various photo magazines around the world and statistically we have the most downloaded and most popular freeware batch resizer available online (measured through various major software announcing sites).
Because of the increasing popularity, VIG has been offered to include bundle software within their install packages, which of course has immediately been turned down. As always our main focus is to protect the end user and make sure to give the majority of users the best experience as possible when using our software. Basically what it means is that VIG is turning down big offers, to save the end user from commercial backdoor intrusions. A bundle software normally includes a commercial software from a vendor who wants to use another software as a backdoor to their own success. It usually installs itself without the end user agreeing to it. As most of you know, it is strictly against what the VIG brand stands for, which is why we are turning down these offers. We believe the words "Bundle software" are more damaging than helpful. We know we have a popular software, and we would like to keep it that way. The only software we will be including in our install packages, are our own. VIG says no to bundle software and spamming our users.

Kudos to you Darren for doing that. I know financially it is difficult to say no to these offers, but in the end, it would ruin what you have established through hard work. Your integrity is what counts with software like this, and if that is jeopordized by add-on software, that many consider spyware or adware, it would have been a nasty move.
But you chose the right path, and I am sure the members and users of your software agree and support you in that decision. Congratulations to you for sticking by your morals and proving that the big guys cant always run the show.

So very true my friend. I wouldn't risk it, and we all know how annoying it is when a third party software installs itselfs behind our backs. I wouldn't want VIG to be labeled with such bad marketing procedures and secondly it is very important to listen to the end users and feel the breeze on their opinions.
I would rather use 10 years to build a future than use 1 year to destroy it.
