PSP :)
Ok so i got my PSP delivered about a week ago, so ive hardly been on the net lately
 anyone else on here got one yet, Its the most beautifull peice of gadgetry i have ever seen, got 2 games with it. Ridge racer and Wipeout pure.. for the size of it and what it does is truly amazing... just wondering if anyone else has one yet Mr J. |

Nope haven't got one and never tried one
however I wouldn't mind trying one out  I like the fact that it is kind of small and portable, so you can easily take it with you on any long boring trips - it makes time pass so much faster Is it like the Nokia NGage? where you can play against each other?

Its 100 times better than ngage.. its PS2 quality basically with wireless so i connect ot my router and play online... amazing peice of kit you should really check out

 How about games, is it limited what you can get so far?

theres 9 or 10 out at the moment.. gran turismo 4 is out next month and is supposed to be a straight port rfom the PS2 version so that will be cool.. then theres GTA and burnout out soon too.. i think its gonna take off big

It will be a huge competitor to NGage. Just knowing the quality you get with PS2 makes PSP worth to buy, and as the NGage consol it is easy to take with you. How about the lifetime of the battery?

Battery Life they say is between 3 and 6 hours depending on various factors.. Game power, wireless etc.. though if you just play mp3's and switch off the screen about 10 hours they say.. the other thing is the screen its truly georgous all games are in widescreen and thats a first... try http://www.us.playstation.com/psp.aspx.. oh and one more thing.. rumour goes that its supposed to run at 333mhz but sony purposely clocked it down to 233 on the launch to save battery power... apparently Gran turismo 4 will come with a firmware upgrade to open the cpu to 333mhz cause it just wont run without it
well worth the money |
