Cool Yes sir, I sure wanna be a trucker!

Have any of you guys tried 18 Wheels Of Steel? Well being a small kind of game (in size) I am amazed by the graphics.

Screen shot by Valu Soft.

The Game.

Step inside your big 18 wheeler, blow the horn and put the pedal to the metal well then again, maybe you should learn how to drive it first. It took me some time to get the hang of it, as steering this truck is something you need to get used to.

The gameplay itself is about trucking. Yes sir, pick up a trailer and drive it across the country - deliver and pick up a new trailer. Pretty simple huh?
Well not really. There are competitors, who I must say are very good at delivering their goods, well at least better than me. Then there's the driving part, not bumping into every car you meet on the highway and last, finding that route so you won't end up in Los Angeles when you should have found yourself being in New York.

The gameplay is pretty fun, but can get boring after a while - but if you like them big 18 wheelers well this game is definitely a big 10-4.

My rating is 8 out of 10.

The graphics are perfect and does not require a lot of your processor or ram, and being the only game series of its kind Valu Soft definitely deserves the credits for taking this step. The only thing that brings down its rating, is that the gameplay can become boring after a while.
A real truckers life is about being on the road 24-7 and the realism is sure brought into this game.

Further information:

Developer: Valu Soft
The Game: 18 Wheels Of Steel

The reflection on the side of the truck isn't real-time .

Yeah, I guess I would get bored of this one quickly. I get bored of NASCAR games pretty quick, as they just dont add enough variety for me to stick with 500 laps of going around in the circle. This seems like the same result for me. The textures do look good though.

True, it is texturized, however I do think they have done a great job with the textures.

Running around in circles aint exactly my idea of a good time either, so this game can get rather boring after a while, if you are not into them big 18 wheelers.
