Angry Very Very Very Slow shutdown inxp pro

Please can anyone advise how to speed up my shut down and restart, All go`es well untill I get to `Windows is now shutting down`, Then it locks, there is an activity light from hard drive.after about 15 mins it starts to reboot. I`m running a P4 2.00 ghts, 1meg ram, Nvidia fx 5700 256 card.

Well, I think it's a typo, but ONE mebabyte of RAM? I think you mean 128mb RAM.

Talking SLOW SHUT DOWN XP PRO

I do have one MB of ram, but that is no answer to my problem. thank you

Post your process list (can be found under Running Processes->Log Processes in VIH). More likely than not, you have a bunch of unsolicited processes slowing you down. A note aside on the RAM, either your computer is quite slow, or you have one GB of RAM.

I wil post my running processes a.s.a.p. regards my ram to confirm I have 2x 256 and
1x500 fitted in motherboard slots cheers for info....alan
